This humming bird I caught in St.John is the first decent picture I've taken of one. All my other humming birds were always so out of focus due to their evasive maneuvers. This one is still slightly out of focus, I'll work harder in the future to get a better one. :)

Elk in the Mountains

                                         Driving through the Colorado mountains with my dad, I chanced
                                         a glance out the passenger window, and right beside us, a huge elk
                                         with four and a half foot antlers just standing there grazing. We pulled
                                         off to the side of the road right away. And without disturbing him, I got
                                         the shot! Never know what you'll find up here.

Caribbean Palm Tree

Just imagine sitting in a hammock, gently swinging back and forth in the breeze, a Pina Colada in hand. You say to yourself, "How can this get any better?" You casually look up to see the palm tree your strung under, as the warm rays of the now setting sun are filtered through the palm fronds creating a warm greenish yellow glow that feels "alive" as it envelopes you. "It just got better." you say.
